A quick glimpse at all the fun things Elise has been up to the past few weeks:
smelling bottles
stacking rings
shoveling snow
pushing pipe cleaners
reading books
matching objects
washing dishes
washing a dog
washing herself!
Lots of good ideas! I love Elise's reading nook, it looks cosy!
ReplyDeleteThat giant sheepskin has been a lifesaver this winter - it's the perfect spot to snuggle up and read books!
DeleteNice pictures, Anne! Since we don't have snow where we are, my favorite one is Elise all geared up for it. :) And the park! So beautiful, with the mountains on the background!
ReplyDeleteThank you! The snow has been fun and all, but I'm ready for some sunny days!
DeleteWhere I am, it's too sunny and warm! Wouldn't it be great if I can give you some sunny and you give me some snowy.
DeleteI linked to your Montessori language activities post by the way, already did a post on pre-alphabet. :-)
That sounds like a pretty good deal! ;) I can't wait to go check out your pre-alphabet post - you always have such good ideas!
DeleteWhat a busy little girl! I was wondering how you present the matching activity with the two pieces of felt?
ReplyDeleteHa - yes! That would be all Elise - the button matching on the blue felt is one activity and the Schleich animals on the green felt is another activity. She put the two together; then got out a bird guide, so she could identify the hen and chicks. Funny girl!
Deleteshes so cute! love that table and low green chair. Where are they from?
ReplyDeleteHi Stella! The table is a first table from Michael Olaf and the green chair is a Cosco booster chair off ebay - search Eames Era, mid century, vintage, etc. Thanks for commenting!
DeleteE's reading nook is getting cosier and cosier! Is there room for me?!
ReplyDeleteHa, yes - it's the coziest place in the house!
