excuses, excuses

Hello out there! It's the long lost itty bitty love - alive and well.
{Thank goodness, right?}

Some of you have noticed it's been a YEAR since I've last posted.
{Really? A whole dang year? That's crazy.}
I'm not really sure why I stopped blogging...

I guess it was due to a combination of things -
LIFE itself being the biggest.

I'm sort of an all or nothing kind of gal,
and I once I started putting my all into other things,
I lost track of the itty bitty love blog.
I just couldn't get back into it.

I told myself,
It doesn't matter.

I let all my bloggy relationships go.

If I let myself dwell on the fact that I'd abandoned itty bitty love
AND all of my friends,
I felt SO SHEEPISH,
I just kept on hiding out.

But I want to come back!!!!
I love to write and take pictures and share ideas and
geeze louise, I want to keep blogging!!!

SO, please forgive me for being a jerk and going MIA for a year.
I don't think I'll be posting as much a I once was,
but I just don't want to feel like a stranger in my own house,
if you know what I mean.

I hope YOU are all alive and well, too!

PS: Hubs is just as great as ever - he's the one who took all the glamor shots of me in my new hat!

  1. I simply cannot believe it!
    What an amazing gift for my birthday (you surely wouldn't mind that I took all the credit for your come back...:)
    Seriously though, I have missed you so much! Was worrying a bit too, I admit.
    SO glad you have decided to share all of your goodness with the world again.
    Kisses and hugs!
    Welcome back...

    PS Lots of things happened here during the last year. Our 5 months old daughter is the biggest of them...:)

  6. Ahhhh! I'm so relieved on so many levels. So happy that you are back and OKAY! Please don't do that again to all of your bloggy friends. At least let us know you are OK!

  9. So glad you are back! I was a Montessori teacher long, long ago in another life, and my sis is a Montessori school director. Now I'm a Speech and Language Therapist and try to incorporate some Montessori methods into my therapy sessions. Your classroom pictures and ideas are always beautiful and I've missed them. Glad you are well! That's the wonderful thing about blogging -- we can just pick back up when we're ready and move forward. :)

  10. Hey! I was so surprised to see you on my reader again! I've popped over here from time to time to search for something I bookmarked and thought, "I wonder if she's ok? Where'd she go? It's probably inappropriate to email a total stranger and say, 'Hey,everything ok?' " hehe....glad to see you back!

  12. Yay, you're back! As coincidence would have it I'm coming back now after just over a year of being MIA as well! Great timing! I do feel a little sheepish as well, but it mostly has to do with my lack of Montessori with my daughter. I look forward to seeing what you have to share again!
