Blingin, huh?

I posted about this glam ornament project a couple days ago - the children have been making them like mad. Tonight was my night to try it out. The sequin and pin selection at the store were not quite as incredible as I had imagined, but I am pleased with the overall results. It looks pretty fine up there on the tree, if I do say so myself! :)




Next up on my homemade ornament agenda:

glittery birds & painted glass


*side note* For the hanger, I made a tiny loop out of fishing line, melted the knot a little, and poked a pin through it. It looks o.k., but there might be a better way to do this. Then, I slipped the loop onto a wire ornament hanger. I found super pretty ones at World Market, but if you were into jewelry, you could make them yourself, I'm pretty sure!
