favorite springtime reads

A few books that are currently giving us spring fever:
  • Snowy Flowy Blowy by Nancy Tafuri
  • Green by Laura Vaccaro Seeger
  • Planting a Rainbow by Lois Ehlert
  • Mama, Is It Summer Yet? by Nikki McClure
  • And Then It's Spring by Julie Fogliano
  • A Book of Seasons by Alice and Martin Provensen
What have you been reading lately?  I'm getting the list for our next trip to the library, and would love a little inspiration!  :)

  1. I have been wanting to buy Green for ages (our library doesn't have a copy) but I can't really justify adding to our 200+ children's book collection! I found this little video though and Finn likes to watch it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVQeY8bodYs Do you own many children's books or do you use the library mostly?

    1. What a big library Finn has - lucky boy! We have a large collection, too - I love children's books! We actually have a really nice library just a few blocks from our house, so we usually go there every other week or so for story time and to check out books. How do you rotate books at your house? I'm always trying to figure that one out! Ok - off to watch the video!

    2. I'm not sure whether Finn is lucky to have lots of books or not. I go back and forth over this as the number of books is sometimes overwhelming. I separated the books into 5 cardboard boxes. 4 live under Finn's bed and the 5th is in rotation. I swap them when either he or I gets bored of the current books out.
